Ukuphela provides a range of accredited training in the Health and Welfare sector.
Over the past 15 years Ukuphela has successfully trained and placed thousands of students.
Ukuphela is an accredited training provider with the Health and Welfare Sector Education and Training Authority (HWSETA) as well as with the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO). All our assessors and moderators are fully registered with HWSETA.
We have extensive experience in the implementation of training for the Expanded Public Works Programme and has implemented training interventions for the Western Cape Department of Health Rural districts as well as for the Department of Education and local municipalities.

A caregiver supports people who are unable to live independently due to physical, psychological, or mental disability.
As a qualified Carer, you will work in various environments such as old age homes, frail care centres, retirement villages, and private institutions or homes.
According to the Act on Older Persons (2016) it is a requirement for any person who would like to work as a care giver to receive accredited training in home-based care. A caregiver must possess a certificate that indicates that you received your training from an institution accredited by the Health and Welfare SETA.
